Funnily enough, we coincidentally wore similar styles a few of the days, but they’d look totally different because of our hair texture. (I have wavy hair; Sophie’s is thick and curly.)
The next day, I tried this simple chignon, and Sophie wore a double bun with a pretty hair clip.
Hands down, the easiest hairstyle of the week was the side braid. It wears well, too, as it gets looser and softly messy throughout the day. (Sophie forgot to take a picture of her hair!)
On Thursday, I wore this style my friend Tyler recommended. It was really easy and looked so unique! Simply take two side pieces near your temples, twist them back and tie them like a knot. Secure with bobby pins horizontally. Sophie French-braided her bangs and wore the rest of her hair curly.
By the end of the week, I wanted to wear something low key, so I curled a few strands and wore beach waves. Sophie rocked a gold headband—doesn’t it look cute with her voluminous hair?
Overall, it was a fun week but definitely a challenge. I have to admit, I’m excited to wear my hair how I always do and sleep in a few extra minutes!
