Who was it that said “Dress for the job you want, not the job you have?” Sometimes I’ll think about this when I’m standing in front of my closet in the morning. I think it’s a great way to constantly remind yourself to chase your dreams. I’m finding that everyone has a “secret” dream job, and I absolutely love it. A few dream jobs my friends have that I think are particularly sweet: to be a voice actor, to be an artistic research photographer, to be the first Nike figure competitor spokeswoman, to own a tea salon, and to be the next Rick Steves. My current dream job is to be a professional blogger–this is what I’d wear if that included lunching with my fave pro bloggers like Joanna, Emily, Joy, and Kelly (A girl can dream right? 🙂 Tell me, what’s your dream job?

I'm with you on that one! 😉 You look adorable – definitely like a pro blogger…stylish & comfy 🙂
Aw thanks Lillian! happy Friday 🙂
I love the outfit, especially the skirt! Very cute. 🙂
Agreed! More people need to dress for their dream job. (Me included.) Also, I wish more of the women wore dresses in the office. (Me included.) It looks so professional.
Dang, maybe I should stop dressing like a grad student. 😛 Love the outfit!
Phoenix Rising, I love seeing people in dresses, too, and I think they're so much more comfortable than stiff slacks!
! That's me! Haha, well the dream job has changed. And it's also now less of a dream and more of a realistic pursuit. Am I being vague? Yes, more to come in person.
omg, who makes that skirt? it is adorable! and i love the way you wore it.
Thanks, Tripps! I'm not sure who made it, but I got it from Therapy, a boutique with locations in the Bay Area. I've seen similar styles at zara as well 🙂
