Do you have a go-to outfit for summer? I live in tan sandals and soft cotton shorts. Here are three of my favorite summer pieces:

1. These Gentle Souls sandals are so comfortable! I could wear them all day. And they have a small leg-lengthening wedge (bonus).

2. High-waisted cotton shorts are much more flattering on me than cut-offs, and these ones are a nice length. (By the way, am I the only one who thinks most shorts these days are way too short?!) I like wearing them with a tee tucked in (as seen here).

3. Chunky statement necklaces are a fun way to dress up shorts and a t-shirt. I’ve been in love with J. Crew’s rhinestone necklaces for a long time, but their $200+ price tags were always too steep. So I was excited to find tons of Etsy shops which sell very convincing J. Crew-inspired jewelry for a fraction of the cost (I ordered the J. Crew flower lattice necklace at a 70% discount!)
