The other day I was checking out the sales on the Gap website, when I saw this new arrival in the baby section. My first thought was to buy it right away. I don’t have a baby, nor are we planning to have one any time soon, but when would I ever find a tiny sweater with a little basset hound—one of my favorite breeds—on it ever again? One lady wrote a review on the website and said she’s probably going to hang onto the sweater until she has a little girl. (Which I swear wasn’t me!) Nathalie told me she’s thought about doing the same thing, but my friend Preethi thinks buying clothes for future children is a little nuts. It’s so hard to resist though!
Have you done it? Do you think it’s a little crazy or perfectly normal?
Baby clothes: Gap basset hound sweater, Boden stripy knitted dress, Gap bow A-line jacket, Oeuf bunny sweater, Boden baby cord bloomers
That basset hound sweater is adorable! I hope you bought it!
I've often thought about knitting items for my future kids. I'm several years away from that point in my life, but why not now when I have the time?
alittleoldfashioned, i wish i could knit. i would totally knit little basset hounds onto booties and mittens.
Wow! These look great! I am so impressed!
