Holiday Cheer in the City

Yesterday we went up to the City to help Tanu trim her tree. Okay, don't tell her, but we really went up there just for the cookies.

I mean, look at them -- as delicious as they were cute.

Then we stopped by to check out Preethi's new(ish) apartment. She made us hot chocolate with fresh peppermint whipped cream! Mmmm.

Peppermint whipped cream? Mmmmmm, sounds amazing!!! I wonder if there's a soy alternative? Boy... at times like this, lactose intolerance makes me sad. >_<

I've never heard of peppermint whipped cream? Seems I need to get my butt to the store! I would trim a tree for the payment of cookies, too. There is no watching calories over Christmas. That's just a waste of time...

You got to hang out with all my favorite people in one day. Sometimes I wish I lived in the bay area and could do fun things with you crazy kids.

Oh, looks like so much fun. Maybe I could make cookies and have a tree-trimming party....I need some help with all that! How's Alan doing? Are you guys doing a tree? And, I would love to know how she makes peppermint whipped cream...is it just flavoring in the cream before you start?

PS This Lamar is really off topic! You can delete him, can't you?

Erin, I deleted him just for you :)

Alan is doing well and we are doing a tree in fact! It's really tiny. I will have to take a picture for you!
