Blueberry Buttermilk Scones


On Saturday, I spent the afternoon playing photographer at a friend’s bridal shower. Since the theme was “tea party,” we all went home with a bunch of different loose leaf tea favors. Sunday was the exact opposite of Saturday–slow and mellow–and the perfect time to enjoy all my new tea. Since I’ve been craving scones for a while now, I decided to make a batch for an impromptu tea party for two. These blueberry buttermilk scones were so easy to make and nice and tender. They weren’t that sweet and would go really well with a side of Devonshire cream or jam.

p.s. buttermilk is my new favorite ingredient to cook with.
