Alan and I’ve lived together for a long time now, but there are still little moments that catch me by surprise. Last week, right as we were drifting off, he turned to me and said, “See you soon.” Like we were about to embark on an adventure together just as soon as we fell asleep. (He’d be wearing something dapper, and I would have that amazing hair).
