{Say hello to Lil’ Ma. I wish she were mine—I would re-name her Squiggles.}
This week was an exciting one—Alan took a new job, I met a baby bulldog, and I saw a lot of my favorite people over delicious dinners. In other news, I’m trying really hard not to listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving, and I almost caved, but I’m still holding strong. Is anyone else out there feeling tempted?

Nice article and good photos………….a great blog
I will probably cave one of these days on the Christmas music; I'm sure it'll be during a nice quiet night where I'm bundled up in layers and drinking tea while I take a break from studying to crochet. I think there must be certain cues for turning on the "Christmas Music" switch in our brains 🙂
Katie, just reading your comment makes me want to put some tunes on! Sounds so cozy.
So far I've been pretty strong about not listening to Christmas music! I only slipped once when I bought Lady Antebellum's new Christmas album and listened to a song or two. Only a little over one more week before I can listen without "guilt"! 🙂
Good job, Briel! I was super tempted today but forced myself to listen to something else instead. Hooray for being closer to guilt-free listening soon!
