“Build-A-Fun-Day” Order Form

General

build-a-fun-day

If you think about it, the reason why birthdays are so great is because it’s the one day you get to do whatever you want. You can choose to have dinner at your favorite restaurant, you can get a mani/pedi, and you can eat multiple desserts guilt-free—all because it’s your special day! 🙂 Wouldn’t it be nice to give more of these days to loved ones? I made a “build-your-own-fun-day” order form and gave it to my sister for Christmas so she could have an extra awesome day just because.

I included different activities for us “to do,” restaurant options “to eat” at, and a variety of dessert shops “to celebrate” at. In case she didn’t like any of my suggestions, I also included blank spaces where she could write in her own choices.

Instead of just sticking it in an envelope, I followed this tutorial and painted a mini clipboard with stripes and polka dots. I clipped the menu in and attached a washi-tape-covered pencil with a piece of twine for her to circle her choices.

She loved it! Here’s a free printable if you’d like to give a friend her own build-a-fun-day order form. Just print it out on thick paper, fill in the spaces for things to do, to eat, and to whatever-else-you-want, and cut it out following the grey outline. You could include activities like a trip to the blow-dry bar or to get a pedicure—the more unlikely that she’ll splurge on the activity herself, the better!
