How to Convince People to Buy What You’re Selling With One Line of Copy

Copywriting

The other day someone surprised me when she wrote to thank me for a webinar she didn’t watch. As someone who spends a lot of time putting thought and effort into my webinar content, I should have been a little upset. But I was too busy being a LOT like

Because not only did she not watch it, she skipped straight ahead to click “buy now.”

What convinced her?

The title. (I’m just gonna say it again, because whaaat, yes, srsly: the title.)

Not the graphics, not the hour-long presentation I’d spent a couple of days crafting, not even the real-life success stories from other people just like her.

And if that’s not every small business owner’s dream—to have your people convinced to buy your shiz after reading one line of copy—I don’t know what is. (If that’s not at least one of your dreams, leave a comment! I want to know what makes your heart skip a beat.)

Why am I telling you this? Because I want you to

with me.

So as much time as you’re spending on writing your next ebook, course, webinar, blog post or YouTube video, make sure to give as much thought to the name. It can pay off big time.

Love the idea of making money with just one line of copy?
